COBOL’s Revenge is an offline game by Stephen Makonin. The app does not collect or transmit personal information to the developer.

Information stored on your device

The app stores your adventure progress and music/effects preferences locally. Progress includes your position, inventory, quests and changes to the game world. No account, name, email address, location, contacts, microphone or camera access is required.

Your device’s operating system may include app data in backups according to your settings. The game does not operate its own cloud service or sync account.

No tracking or advertising

The app contains no advertising, tracking SDKs, analytics service or in-app purchases. It does not sell or share your information.

Support and this website

If you choose to contact us through GitHub, the information you submit is handled by GitHub and may be public. Please avoid sharing sensitive information. This website is hosted on GitHub Pages; GitHub may process technical information about visits under its privacy statement. This website includes no analytics scripts, advertising or contact forms.

Apple services

If you use TestFlight or choose to share device diagnostics, Apple may process information under its own policies. These optional platform services are separate from data collection by the game.

Deleting saved information

Restarting replaces adventure progress. Deleting the app removes its local data, subject to your operating system’s backup and restore settings.

Children

The game does not ask children or other players to provide personal information.
